Description:

"A distant lighthouse" stands beyond a fractured land, not as guidance but as an unreachable direction. The composition unfolds through a split terrain, where flowing forms collide with rigid structures, reflecting an inner division rather than a physical one. Eyes filled with water suggest a perception overwhelmed by emotion, where seeing becomes unstable. Mechanical and organic elements intertwine, forming a controlled yet collapsing system. The lighthouse, small and far, resists the chaos but does not resolve it. This work explores the tension between knowing the way and being unable to move toward it, where light exists but remains distant, and the center continues to break apart.

‍Material & Process:

The painting was created on a surface prepared with imitation gold, silver and copper leaf, layered powders and marbled textures, then completed with oil paint.
