Description:
This work questions the fragile boundary between being alive and truly existing. Breathing alone is not proof of presence; meaning is measured by the traces one leaves behind. Some lives fade into time, becoming invisible even while they continue, while others endure beyond physical absence, sustained by memory and impact. Value here is not tied to duration, but to depth and resonance.
The deliberate incompleteness within the piece becomes a language of its own. What remains unfinished, silent, or withheld points toward what cannot be directly seen. These absences invite the viewer into a space of reflection, confronting the tension between presence and emptiness.
At its core, the work suggests that existence is not guaranteed by life itself. Some vanish while still living, others continue long after they are gone. Permanence is found in the ability to leave a mark that resists time.
