Description:

This work explores the tension between containment and emotional overflow. A fragile yet monumental structure rises at the center, symbolizing the inner world where pain, memory, and desire are trapped within.

The figure is not visible, yet fully present—hidden within veins, tears, and the silent architecture of the self. The impossibility of release becomes the core conflict: to cry would mean to lose what is being held onto.

Spiral forms, sharp extensions, and layered pathways suggest a journey that never fully resolves—an emotional circulation rather than an escape. The presence within the tear is both protection and imprisonment.

This piece reflects the paradox of attachment: holding on so tightly that even sorrow cannot fall.

Material & Process:

The painting was created on a surface prepared with imitation gold, silver and copper leaf, layered powders and marbled textures, then completed with oil paint.
