Description:

"The Utility Knife" explores the fine and dangerous line between destruction and revelation. The blade is not merely a tool, but a symbol of the inner cuts carried within the human psyche. It represents the moments when suppressed emotions surface—sharp, unavoidable, and transformative.

The composition reflects a state of tension, where vulnerability meets resistance. Each form suggests fragmentation, as if something within has been divided, exposed, or forced into the light. The sharpness implies both harm and clarity, questioning whether pain is something to escape or something that reveals truth.

Rather than depicting violence, the work focuses on internal rupture—the silent fractures that shape identity over time. Utility Knife becomes a metaphor for confrontation, where illusions are stripped away and what remains is raw, unprotected, and real.
